Charles Chadd, the owner of Decks Unlimited, believes “If you can dream it. We can build it.” Deck’s Unlimited has built hundreds of decks in Lafayette, West Lafayette, Rensselaer, Monticello, and the communities surrounding Indianapolis over the past 50+ years. As the owner, Charles is involved in each new project from the initial design through the final inspections.

A Family Business for Over 50 Years

In 1957 Charles Chadd Sr., founded our company in White County, Indiana. The company experienced steady growth and a reputation for quality. In 1998, Charles’ son, Charles Jr., took over the business. In 2001 Charles decided to relocate the business from White County to Lafayette. This allowed Charles to expand the business and build a large showroom to promote the many products available to Decks Unlimited customers.
